hi

i've dabbled my whole life in turning every compute cycle into something amazing. i build distributed systems. why be afraid to build a system from scratch, when it can do amazing things?

ai is the new era of computing, and access to it should be as dirt cheap as access to water. to get there, we should put every compute, every joule around us, to work doing something amazing.

so i started openinfer, to turn computing into amazing work.

i received my phd in computational vision. i studied how the computation behind human visual perception is 1000 times more efficient than the computing systems we have. my thesis demonstrated that manifold learning, the key to non-linear processing, can run on a small microprocessor, resembling how the brain carries out visual perception.

i'm also a visiting scientist at harvard medical school, where i lead scientific research on the human vision system and how the brain operates. i've won multiple national and international awards for advancing ai in drug discovery and in understanding how the human brain operates.

before this i built oculus link at meta reality labs, led project atmosphere at google [x], and led ai and infrastructure work at roblox.
